Killantringan Bay
A beautiful sandy beach to the north of Portpatrick. A fairly narrow road heads down off the A764 for some two miles to the lighthouse perched on the cliff above the bay.
The bay is made up of lots of separate coves, at high water, at low it's a long expanse of sand interspersed with rocky cliffs.
You have to park before the beach and walk down to it over the grassy cliff. We had some lovely times here, it really is a gem of a beach. It can be difficult to park on a lovely day.
Once again I have no photos of my own of this beach, only one of the lighthouse from a distant beach.
