The Swan Inn

We visited a week ago with a view for holding our daughters christening.

The staff were unwelcoming, leaving us at the bar for a long time before taking our drinks orders. No service with a smile, they were very unaccommodating to our child, asking us to move as there were two people in the restaurant. The food was cold, poor and service was slow. We live in the town and would love to have found a place for a christening but the attitude of the landlady was so cold and so unwelcoming we will not return. They are certainly not a family friendly pub and there is nothing positive to say, sadly.
