Pub, bed, breakfast..................
Large pub, dating from 1542 in parts. Four bedrooms, pleasant ensuite accommodation, good English breakfast. Pleasant landlord/landlady, good range of meals available in the evening. Real ales (Otter and Doom recommended). Garden and patio, with 150-year-old wisteria. Barbeques, quiz night, curry night etc through the year as and when. Friendly locals. Nice place to stay; good base for exploring mid-Devon.
