A great site in the south of Ulverston, right next to the Cumbria Coastal path. For Camping Club members only.

2 acres of level, neatly mown field with electric hook-ups if you want. Also a small playground.

Very friendly, helpful owners. Resident chickens. Good views to Hoad Hill. Easy access to coast by foot.

Don't be put off with the route to the site. You pass very close to Ulverston's main employer, Glaxo Klein, but I can assure you the site is well away from it.

Only facilities, water and chemical emptying point.
£5 - £6 a night.

Well positioned for exploring the Furness Peninsula.

Unique Quality: We enjoyed an unplanned night away in the van, here. The weather was glorious so we sat out and appreciated the tranquil scenes and watched the distant hay-making. A resident chicken came to suss us out and very nearly ended up in the van, it was so nosey!!

We opted to have a bit of a walk to the coast and discovered a most attractive coastal path with lovely views out across the estuary. Ever so peaceful, even if it is part of the Cumbria Coast walk.
