Nice pub, poor hotel
I have been a regular in the Halcyon Quest's pub for many years, but have never stayed in their hotel. However my dad stayed there once and said the rooms were very basic.
Unique Quality: No particularly great views or facilities but only a few minutes' walk to the town centre shops, pubs and restaurants. About 20 minutes walk or three minutes drive to the beach.
