Brynowen is in a great location, but is in need of a refurb by Park Resorts. We've just came back from our second visit in three years. The silver static we stayed in was very clean and tidy, don't think they allow pets in these, no stains on carpets etc and everyting looked like new. Was in the bit where the statics are cramped together, but this didn't bother us as the kids made friends very easily with other kids. You can get a staic on the top of the hills with lovely views, but you obviously will pay extra for this. We all found the pool lovely, clean and warm, but the facilities within the swimming area are in need of investment (no lockers etc). The patio bar is nice as you go in, but the dining area is within a kind of shed/add onn to the building, not the nicest of places to eat, but the food was good and you can then sit in the lounge or outside with a drink. Toilets are poor though, no hot water. The club is OK, again the toilets are not very clean and no running hot water. Park resorts need to improve on this. Kids loved the two games rooms, and their is plenty of pool tables aswell. I'd give it 3/5 but if Park Resorts spent some money it would be 5/5...the location is really nice. We got our groceries from the shop outside the park (Nisa) instead of paying the 'park mart' prices. Also their are plenty of pubs serving food, one inparticular is called the village inn, about a 10 min walk from the park. It has a beer garden which leads straight onto the beach...we had a few beers whilst the kids played on the beach! Theres also a lovely indian their called the Borth Tandoori in you fancy a change, its a restaurant and takeaway. The Animalarium is also worth a visit, a little expensive but a fun day out. We will be going back, the kids didn't want to leave...yes there is faults with the park and park resorts could do better, but even with this we all thought it was brilliant.
Unique Quality: Location
Views
Directions: Left at the Nisa then right into the park
