Carmarthen
"My home town"
This is where I was born many years ago, the heartland of West Wales where the Welsh language can be heard in the streets, shops and offices of this county town.
Home of Carmarthen Town A.F.C. it has some interesting shops, restaurants and so many great places to visit all within easy reach of this fine town of ours.
If you need advice on the area I would be glad to give some helpful tips.
You will need a car to take in the best that this area has to offer.
Spring and summer are the best seasons to visit.
"Kidwelly"
I have now 'emigrated' from Carmarthen to a pretty village called Mynydd y Garreg, (stone mountain) which is perched on a natural balcony above the town of Kidwelly. This area is very closeconvenient to the county town of Carmarthen and Llanelli.
Kidwelly has one of the best preserved castles in Wales and is a must when you are in the area.
Plenty to see and do around here but a car is essential.
