dresscode for nightout
I'm from canada and want to know what would be appropriate to wear for a night out in newport, are jeans like not really acceptable...becasue in canada some places are really strict about what you wear and i dont know what places we will be going to and i dont want to miss out on anything just becasue of what i'm wearing

It depends on what type of club you're going to; smart jeans are accepted in all but the trendiest clubs. Trainers (sneakers)are frowned on by the bouncers outside the busier Newport clubs.
If you're a girl dress the way you want, no bouncer will stop you, if you’re a man then it’s always best to avoid trainers/sneakers and jeans if you want to go the trendiest clubs.
Cardiff which is 10 minutes by train and £20 in a taxi has a far greater choice of bars and clubs
