A lovely setting

The travelodge in Caernarfon is ideally situated in the Victoria Dock area of the town. Just a 5 minute picturesque walk, alongside the harbour will take you to the Castle and town centre. The Travelodge rooms are clean, safe and comfortable with tea-making facilities, flat screen tv and plenty of hanging space for your cloths. This Travelodge does not have a bar/restaurant area but Yr Harbwr is just around the corner providing meals and drinks and for breakfast we nipped across the road to Morrisons for Beans on toast - we resisted the full cooked breakfast! I really enjoyed my stay here, the location is great and also since we booked a few months in advance we took advantage of the 19 pounds per room offer - what a bargain!! I would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

There is a free car park (April 2010) just to the side of the Morrisons supermarket - this is just a 2 minute walk away from the Travelodge.

Cheap and Comfortable

The Travelodge is located just outside the town walls in the new Doc Fictoria complex, the rooms are comfortable although there is some noise from the building works that are still ongoing on the complex. Although it does not have it's own carpark there is one just at the top end of the Complex just behind Morissons that is currently free (untill 2010 when it is going to be made into a pay and display)
