More about Adcote House

Highly Recommended

by TripAdvisor Member penwortham

Arrived in Llandudno Monday 23rd March 2009 for four nights stay without having pre booked any accommodation with the deliberate intention to gain the advantage of viewing first hand, the choices of accommodation within the town.

Therefore, in itself it comes as a recommendation that we were drawn by the appearance, location and parking facility of the Adcote House. A tour of the property by Tony (husband / partner of proprietor Anne) confirmed to us that this was the ideal place to stay, given the cleanliness, decor, detail and overall standard.

With staying for 4 nights / 5 days, we chose the suite of rooms at a very reasonable price given us the comfort of our own lounge, (inclusive of fridge and TV / DVD) as well as the bedroom / en suite, which were all finished to a high standard.

Having completed our stay at the Adcote House, my wife and I can honestly state that the breakfasts were excellent, the environment was friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Should or when we return to Llandudno, we hope that Tony and Anne are still running the Adcote House.

Llandudno itself has plenty of facilities, by way of walks, history, scenery, Great Orme (walk it, tram it, ski it, cable car it) restaurants, cafeterias, more shops than any town I have ever visited, it also serves as an ideal location to base yourself if you need to expand on any requirements by visiting the area's of Colwyn Bay, Conwy, Bangor, Anglesey and Snowdonia National Park.

Our visit was primarily to take in some walking and we recommend that of Conwy estuary continuing on to the walls of the Conwy Castle. Also, walking up the Great Orme taking in the summit and continuing on to the nature trail and the old lighthouse at the far side of the Orme.

A first class B&B that offers much more than expected

Have booked again this year as we were so pleased with our previous stay. Rooms spotless, breakfast excellent and the personal help and friendly service were second to none. Only a few streets away from the front - which has its advantages when it comes to noise - it is but a short stroll to all that you would want. We were very, very impressed with everything.

Return to Adcote House

Second time we have stayed at Adcote House and were so glad we returned. The welcome was warm, the room was excellent and the service great. They really know how to make it feel like a home from home. Always knowledgeable about the area and recommend the best places to go. We'll certainly return again.

Anne and Tony make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is cooked to your liking and plenty of it! The rooms are spotless as is the rest of the hotel. Wi - Fi is now installed which is a bonus. we shall definatley be back in august. Try the Bejing chinese buffett restarant its the best we have had not like the usual you order as much as you like and its cooked fresh! its a five min walk away! Also just one more note .... i left my engagement ring back at the hotel (by the bed ) i realised about an hour after! I rang them and they had it safe hows that for honesty ! They had been trying to ring me to let me know but i was down the copper mines at the time, so no signal. thankyou anne and tony!

We have stayed in many B&B's over the years but this has to be the best by far. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious & comfortable as is the rest of the hotel. It is ideally located with just a few minutes walk to the shops & promenade. The breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice and local produce - they kept us going all day. Anne & Tony are excellent hosts, very helpful & had a good sense of humour. We can all highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank-you for a wonderful holiday.

Peace of mind accommodation

We had a four day break in Llandudno and stayed at ADCOTE HOUSE on recommendation. The recommendation was spot on, Tony & Ann are super hosts and should be proud of the service they provide. Accommodation is a No 1 priority on holiday and if your not happy with your digs, it can spoil your vacation, so take my advice and stay at the ADCOTE, it's the best start to your holiday.

Probably the Best in the West...

Wow!!!... We are so pleased and thrilled to have found this truly delightful guest house - it’s a real gem. We are not sure that we want to share it with you, just in case we can't get a room next time! What can we say, other than everything is just perfect for a comfortable relaxing stay. We have stayed several times, both in a room and also a suite, which are of the same high standard. The decor and furnishings are charming throughout the house, which is spotlessly clean, well maintained and so obviously cared for lovingly by the proprietor Anne and her husband Tony. The friendly service and attention to detail is second to none, from the time of booking to the time of leaving, nothing is too much trouble for this lovely couple. We must not forget to mention the wonderful breakfasts, which are cooked to perfection by Anne and served with great cheer by Tony, who works so hard to ensure that this most important meal of the day is an enjoyable experience. We have come to love Llandudno and the surrounding area, which has so much to offer and we will continue to visit and hopefully stay at Adcote House – providing it’s not fully booked!
