Travel Tips for Llandudno

Golf anyone?

by lomi

North Wales Golf Course is on the west shore at Llandudno. Visitors are welcome.

It is Championship standard with the wonderful scenery of the North Wales coast from The Snowdonia mountains, and the island of Anglesey to Puffin Island.

The Clubhouse offers cooked food or bar snacks, or choose from the daily Specials board. The Dress Code is smart casual however for official Club Functions Members & Guests are required to wear Jacket & Tie.

Green fees start at 17 GBP for the day in winter and 34 in summer.

Life's a beach

by davesut

The beach - you must take a journey to the beach. It is a long swathe of rock and pebbles with a long promenade but you can still find a fare amount of sand. The beach under Happy Valley is very rocky and a great place for exploring rock pools. During a summers day you will find the place packed with families enjoying the beach life.

Copper mines

by sandysmith

Hailed as the world's largest pre-historic mines - found in the Great Orme nature park -situated between the half way tram staion and the summit station. Open open every day from the beginning of February to the end of October, cost £4.50.
Again we preferred to be above ground in the sunshine rather than below so check out the website if this interests you.

Llandudno, North Wales, UK (my hometown).

by RobMorgan

Hi, thanks for visiting my "Hometown" page. We are very lucky to live here & really appreciate the beauty of the area. We have the sea in front of us & the mountains behind.
Llandudno is now a year round resort & voted the best in Wales.
This is a picture of the promenade, which I cycle along every day (please note-cycling is banned on the promenade he! he!).
