Nature Park - plenty of hiking trails on the Great Orme to enjoy. The visitor's centre (free entry) near the tram summit station has lots of info amd maps on the area. In the summer guided walks are available.
Check out the travelogues for the hike on the Orme.
The Great Orme
by lomi
The Vikings called the local limestone mountain Orma Heva.
The Romans came later and named it the Great Worm and restarted the ancient copper mines.
The town of Llandudno lies between two limestone mountains, now called Great Orme and Little Orme. A visit to the town is not complete without a trip by cable car, tramway or on foot. The views from the top are worth all the effort.
The town of Llanduno takes its name from St Tudno an early 6th century saint who brought Christianity to this part of Wales
