Hotel Room of the Year

The Lamp Room at the Lighthouse was voted 'the best sea view' category of their Hotel Room of the Year 2003, in New Woman magazine (Feb 2004).

Unique Quality: From the old lamp room at the top of the lighthouse you can watch a storm at sea, or gaze at the sunset.

For a big treat we stayed in the Four-Poster suite. It has a sitting room. The room has an en suite shower and offers impressive coastline and sea views. 75 GBP per person per night includes breakfast.

From Llandudno pier, pass it on the right, continue past the Grand Hotel. You will then pass the second entrance to the pier on the right and after some three hundred metres you will enter the Great Orme Scenic Route (Marine Drive). The lighthouse will be found some two miles from the Toll Gate Cottage.

Something Special

The old lighthouse has luxury rooms/suites - graded 5 star - all decorated like a ship and with superb sea views.
The Principal keepers suite, the Telegraph room and the Lamp Room Suite all cost £65 per person per night.
Check out their website for room pics and info - it certainly something different for that special occassion.

Unique Quality: A Victorian light house, built like a fortress perched on top of a sheer cliff with commanding sea views. Winner of AA "Guest House of the Year", and also RAC Little Gem award!
