Of Welsh importantance
Well some people might think this is a bit of a cheat but after spending 3 years in london in university i wanted to discover my hometown again before jetting off to any other countries.
Wales is my home and very important to me and so is my home town, Pontypridd. it is also an important place for Welsh history. It was in Pontypridd that the Welsh national anthem was written on the bank of the river taff. It also once had the longest train platform in the the world. It is home to one of the first unsupported stone bridges (the old bridge which is seen on the bagde of the rugby team as well as most other badges) and home to he Grog shop the only one of it's kind. Tom Jones lived here and started his career here and this market town is at the foot of the three valleys, the Rhondda valley, the Cynon valley and the Merthyr valley.
lastly it's rugby club had the best kicker in the world a mr Neil Jekins who has scored more points then anyone else. With all this wouldn't you be proud to come from Pontypridd.
at this moment in time there are no photos to show you but bare with me
