a good night's sleep
We'd spent 2 hours following the NavSat trying to find a hotel in the Cardiff area. Either the TOM TOM was having a bad night or we were unlucky , but everywhere we tried was full, or couldn't be found. At midnight we asked a taxi driver for help, and he directed us to Travelodge.
We had to wait a few minutes for extra bedding to be brought up, and then were able to sleep after a long drive from the north of England.
The room was acceptable and the bed comfortable.
There was a good view over Cardiff Bay area.
Tea making facilities were available. The TV offered several channels. The water was hot.
My only complaint was the minute bar of soap.
Cost of room was £51 compared to the £69 pounds offered by Premier Inn. Parking was on the road, but we were told there was no danger.
Unique Quality: I was intrigued by the bottle opener attached to the side of the work table. [see pic. 2].
There was not one in the other room we had.
