Hilton St Annes
More about Hilton St Annes
anniversary weekend break
We stayed at the st annes manor hotel for our wedding anniversary for 2nights bed and breakfast and 1 evening meal.we ask for one of the delux rooms and we re very pleased. our room had a balcony which over looked the gardens and orangery where we had our meals.,and because the weather was so lovely we sat on our balcony late in the evening and sipped wine after a great day at winsor castle.we had a dip in the pool and spa and the hotel grounds are nice to take a walk we found the hotel very clean the staff very helpful
we have stayed at many hilton hotels , some better than others for different reasons . st annes was lovely to have the balcony and the gardens which we requested as not all rooms have this
we will visit st annes again as we had a lovely time
Loved the hotel
Stayed at this Hilton several times before as it is convenient for ascot races.Check in was convenient and quick receptionist welcomed me back which was a nice touch.the hotel itself is a very nice country house hotel with a very nice garden which is great in summer to sit by and have a few drinks.the pool looked good and was busy most of the time the food in the restaurant has improved with a very reasonable set menu with some other foods available at a supplement. The bar was great too with a nice food selection if you wanted a snack or sandwich. While the room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable but what let down this paricular hotel was the Room itself Hilton need to spend some money and upgrade the rooms ohterwise A Very Nice weekend away from London where the Staff looked after me very well
Great hotel, needs more staff...
The hotel is in a fantastic location, in its own grounds in a rather secluded location given that it's so close to the A379(M) from the M4 to Bracknell.
The hotel itself is modern, large and the rooms are nice.
The bar's a bit on the small side, although there are plenty of seating areas around - perhaps the nicest part is being able (on a very sunny day which we seem to be luckily experiencing at the moment!) to sit out on the terrace outside.
We were there for a party and so were another three sets of guests, including a wedding. The service was great in terms of food and the deceptive size of the place meant that you weren't treading on each other's toes - the only problem, easily sorted, was staff. There weren't anything like enough staff during the day or evening - which meant we were all queuing at the bar! When we raised this they said that more people were arriving later, but they never seemed to get there.
Apart from that one minor issue (which some of the chavvier guests decided was "a really big issue mate") the place is fantastic and I'd even think of going again for a weekend break (even though it's only 20 minutes away from home).
An enjoyable stay....
We have just arrived home after a weekend at St Anne's Manor. We have stayed there several times when there has been a special offer for a weekend break. The hotel is very expensive otherwise.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and is very peaceful. We had a club room although we had booked a standard room. The bathroom door didn't shut in first room we were given but after a phone call to reception we were given a choice of two other rooms. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. Nice toiletries in the bathroom although the grouting could have done with a little bleach. The shower was a let down, the pressure was so low that it was impossible to wash my hair.
The aircon in our original room worked but in the room we stayed in (286)it wouldn't turn off. We did ask for maintenace to look at it but no one came.
We had breakfast and dinner included in our rate, £74 per night. The buffet breakfast is excellent with plenty to choose from and at the weekends you can eat until 11am. The buffet dinner is also good. The service was reasonable, most times we were seated quickly at a table by the window overlooking the lovely gardens.
We used the spa and were very pleased with the facilities. The pool is a good size for a hotel. There is a steam room , a sauna and a jaccuzi. The gym has a good selection of machines. There is also a beauty salon. We spent a whole morning in the spa and really enjoyed it.
We will certainly go back to St Anne's Manor whenever we get a special offer from Hilton. The staff are very friendly and helpful and overall we had a very nice time.
Great price for beautiful hotel
Stayed as part of hilton package for Legoland, this was a wonderful hotel set in amazing grounds. Room was stylish and staff always on hand when i needed them. Buffet breakfast was great value. I would love the chance to visit here again.
