A taste of culture
"Another Hot Day"
I visited Bahrain from August 3-Sept 6th which is the hottest time of the year for them. Im talking like day with min 107 degree weather plus high humidity! when i got in on the 3rd it was around 1130pm, walking outside the airport was a shocker it was 98 degrees! with humidity! it took little time to get use too this weather, i packed all tank tops, but chose to wear a jean jacket when out in public for the respect of the locals and so i dont get hasseled by the men. It did get a bit annoying having to feel sweaty all the time, I did for the most part enjoy the weather. Make up isnt the best of options because it feels like a sauna outside and mmmm melting faces arent attractive =)
"Bahrain please"
This being the first chance to leave North America, it was quite an adventure. Bahrain, is full of life, culture, and food! Honestly there isnt much color to the country on the outside, but lots of things to keep you intreged, shops, buildings, life. Considering that i am a non muslim woman, visiting a muslim dominate country, the locals were super nice, of course there is a language barrier with some, but English is understood in most parts.
