Manaman luxury hotel
I recommend this hotel as one of the best luxury hotel in manama as i have seen the interior is very elegant with friendly filipino staffs. Also very accessible to bahrain souq, restaurant and other shopping area.
The hotel features 327 recently renovated guest rooms and 32suites and it is overlooking the arabian gulf.

Intercontinental Regency - Excellent
I stayed two weeks at the Intercontinental on King Faisal Highway, around May 1999. (I also stayed at the Holiday Inn around May 2001).
My room was spacious, with marble floors, a fine bathroom and a view of the pool.
Downstairs there was a wonderful full-service restaurant and a bakery shop that had great French baguettes. I remember there was also a nightclub, where a Filipino rock'n'roll band sang American favorites every night.
Unique Quality: Great location downtown, right outside the Baab al Bahrain and the entrance to the Souk area.
Good service and great food (although expensive).
