Romanov's Palace / Hotel sometimes by rjaparidze This complex is the best place to stay in that region, though by western standards this is 2-3 star place. Despite this the place itself has a historic significance and really deserves a stay there along with a tourist guide. It was built by russian Emperor Nikolay; it used to be a place of residence for Stalin and later on a number of foreign dignitaries lived there... Ins sum a very interesting place for stay.

Spring water in the Sanitorium-Borjomi-Georgia by Groverdean The deal is you can stay in the Palace for 56USD per person per night, or the standard accommodation for 30USD per person per night. You must prebook. All meals and some activites included as it is a health retreat. We decided to stay 2 nights in the standard accommodation. It was very poor. Not worth it. We got up the next day to use the resorts facilities as nothing had been working for about a month due to pump problems. They didnt tell us when we paid our money. We wish we'd just stayed one night in the Romanov Palace as the accommodation there was nicer and of course unique! The guest house is located in the building next to the Borjomi Karagauli park administration. The rooms are pretty clean as well as the shower, there is a balcony there, the place is quite. Its a bit far away from the city center, but a taxi to everyplace around Borjomi is 2 Lari. On the first floor there is a huge dining room that can contain more than 20 people I believe as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. There are 4-5 rooms on the second floor. The cost was 60 Lari per night per room and you have to cook your own breakfast. To my understanding the place was renewed and opened recently and doesn't appear on the park's web page, but Natia suggested it when I emailed her, she said that it is better than the one in Marelesi.
