great service...
A very centrally-located 3 stars hotel which costed us 40 dollars for a double, during No Ruuz, so I suspect it's cheaper at other times of the year. Great, friendly and helpful staff - but you better phone to make reservations, as I never got a reply to my emails... They speak great English, too. On their day off the guys double as taxi-drivers, and might take you to Persepolis and nearby ruins, if you ask.
Unique Quality: Although the room was a bit sad-looking (read: dark colours and separate beds) it was very comfortable and had soft mattrasses, which is not always the case in Iran. Basically, we liked it. Another good thing of the hotel is the little bar at the back, on the ground floor. It's in the open air and had large sofas and comfortable cushions. Great to relax and sip some tea.
Thumbs down, however, to the Sarve Naz restaurant (where breakfast is served): it looked really dirty and unappealing. The dead insect that we saw on the floor on day one, was still on the floor we day we left.
