Crowne Plaza Hotel Haifa

The Holiday Inn Bayview is a Resort hotel - offering spa treatments and resort like amenities. If you get the right room, you get a gorgeous view of the Haifa Bay. It's a short walk up the street and you're in the middle of dining and a popular area in the evening. On weekends, there's a park where lots of people hang out. Great location. Great view.

Unique Quality: I could NOT get hot water running no matter how much I tried! Had to take somewhat chilly showers everyday.

There are only 2 elevators in the hotel. Kind of a pain when the Shabbat is on.

The rooms are mostly BELOW the level of the lobby, because the hotel is on the side of a hill.

Directions: Near center of town.

The hotel is set on the slopes of mount Carmel, on the end of the street with the most beautiful view of the bay. It's a 5 minutes walk to the Carmel Center. The hotel has been designed as a business hotel but caterstourists as well
Across the street is a great steak restaurant, a cheap fish restaurant, and a very "in" Irish Pub.
The health Club includes an indoor pool, dry and wet sauna, Jacuzzi and gym.
It's better located then the elegant Dan Carmel, and cheaper then the Dan Panorama, on the main street.
