Nofesh Tapuz: comfortable and an amazing view

this is a Zimmer ,Israeli bed and breakfast about 3 minutes drive from Nof Ginosar. So when we attend the Jacobs Ladder festival and we don't like to camp, and the Pundak there is full up we stay at this lovely place. It is in the village of Migdal up the hill and the view from there is amazing.
The couple who run it ,Sara and Menachem Karasenti are charming and they regale you with their home fruits and a bottle of wine.
it is only a few minutes drive down to the lake and they will give you brochures of stuff to see and do in the surrounding area

Kibbutz Ma'agan: On the south shore of the sea of Galilee

Not sure what to call this facility. Hotel, Motel,etc?? Whatever it is a very nice place to stay with Kibbutz home cooking. In what started out to be a Kibbutz (co-op) with small beginnings it now has developed into a full scale resort. It is quite a large complex with a great location. Everyone who works there has a stake in the success of the resort so service is good and everyone is friendly. Also it is a great jump off point for tours of this northern part of Israel. There are a number of historical sites and Christian sites to visit. Believe it or not there are still a great many tourists who visit Israel. If you are interested in taking a tour of the Holy Land we have brought several groups of 40 plus on visits. This has always been our base in northern Israel.

Has a nice size beach front, pool and other nice ammenities. Really nice to get up real earlywalk the beach, watch the sunrise and meditate. Of course ther is the Golan Heights and a view up the lake.The rooms are alway clean and comfortable but not dressed up fancy. They have all the ammenities, but somewhat spartan

Vered Ha'Galil: Vered Ha'Galil

A charming place, where you can rent a cabin. This is not on the beach itself but on the hill north of the lake, on the way to Rosh Pinna. There is also a good steakhouse here and a horse farm if you like some horse riding.
