A view of Tiberius, nestling at the foot of the mountains bordering on the beautiful lake Kinneret/Sea of Galilee. This photo was taken on a narrow asphalt road that runs above the city, a route that has been dubbed "Little Switzerland"... as you can see in the forground much of it is BROWN...can't quite figure out the relationship to Switzerland. Anyway you will find many things to do in and especially AROUND Tiberius. You have the religious sites of Tabcha, Mt. of the Beautitudes, Capernum, and Yardenit (where Jesus was babtized). You have the antiquites of Korazim and Beit Saida. There are also hot springs and spas on the western shore close to town and we WONT mention the lake itself.
