A Business Hotel

This hotel is pretty hard to miss if you have ever been on the Ayalon Freeway. The Sheraton City Tower is the only Sheraton that is directly owned by the Sheraton International Group in the entire State of Israel (the others are affiliated but not owned). This hotel is a status symbol in Israel because it is also features lavishly expensive apartments. It's location makes it ideal if you need to be near the Diamond Exchange but if you just need to be in Tel-Aviv, then you should be able to get the same price at the David Intercontinental which I rate higher than the City Tower. The rooms were nice, very modern and clean, but small and basic. Nothing so special. Especially for the price I paid. There is a small pool but it is hardly relaxing since under you in the Ayalon Freeway. I can only suggest this hotel based on its business pluses but if you are coming to Israel for a vacation, this hotel is not very child friendly.

Sheraton City Tower

This is the hotel with the best view in ramat gan - located on the diamond center and it is a great hotel for business travelers.

A 170m high hotel , 47 floors while top floors are for luxurious residential usage.

Getting from the airport to Tel Aviv

by Summer2005Israel

How do I get from the airport to Tel Aviv (bus/train) and where do they drop off because I will need to get a hotel near there. Thanks
J

There aren't many hotels near the train station in Tel-Aviv. The onlu one I can think of is Sheraton city Tower in Ramat-Gan and this area is the worst to stay in in Tel-Aviv anyway as it's just a noisy highway. You can either take a train and then a local bus or taxi to the hotel (most of the hotels are on the beach, about 10 minutes drive west of the train station), or you can take bus 222 from the airport which passes the main hotels. Of course, you can also get a taxi from the airport to your hotel.

Line 222 has been suspended until futher notice.
It's best to take the train to Tel-Aviv central ('Merkaz') and take a bus/taxi from there.

It sounds like you have not yet booked an hotel so i suggest you indeed
to take the train to 'Tel Aviv Merkaz' station and from there to take
a taxi or a bus but then you'l need to know where you're heading to.
If you need an advice regarding a hotel you can check my Tel Aviv page to get some ideas or you can check this website:
