Close to the Beach

Airy dormitory with enough space and access to the balcony.

Showers & bathrooms very clean as far as hostels go.

Internet access (you need to pay).

Friendly reception staff (24h).

Unique Quality: Maybe the best thing about Hayarkon 48 is the close location to the beach - it is about a 2 minute walk!

Convenient lodging in Tel Aviv

Centrally located and inexpensive. We had a double room with private bath and an ocean-view balcony for less than $50/night. If you stay 10 days and pay in advance, there's a 10% discount (may not apply during Passover or high-tourist season). Utilitarian furnishings, but clean facility. Do-it-yourself small continental breakfast included in kitchen next to lobby. Inexpensive internet service in the lobby.

Most people staying there were young (many of the rooms are dorm rooms, cheaper than our private room). There's a bar in the lobby where you can meet other young people travelling. Laundry facilities on premises. The staff speaks English.

NOTE: No elevator

Hostels in Tel Aviv

by mariaschmidt

Hi
I think you will experience TLV differently if you stay the night and it is worth it as nightlife in TLV is much more interesting that in Haifa. I know of a few central hostels; I heard that Hayarkon 48 is the best but there are others just check on the accomodation page of Tel Aviv 4 Fun where you can see a list with adresses and telephone numbers
http://www.telaviv4fun.com/sleeping.html

Wish you a pleasant visit to Israel
