Small, comfi and near the sea

This hotel is a small one and i think the rooms are relatively samll as well but its a real comfortable one and situated just in the center of Tel Aviv in paralel to the promanade.(If you ask me i think its a great location !)
About the rooms, I think that many of the rooms are watching the sea as well.
Prices are not so expensive and its definitely worth to be checked.
Their website is comfortable so take a look and check it.

Nicest people, very accommodating

I am staying in Tel Aviv for over a month to study locally. I chose to stay at the Hotel Maxim based on the online description. I have to say I am more than happy with my accomodations. The rooms are somewhat small (typical of the area however) but the service here is wonderful. No matter who you speak to, the staff, the guests, anyone they are all incredibly nice. I have met wonderful people during my stay. No matter what the issue, the staff will do anything in their power to accomodate me. It is wonderful.

Unique Quality: Free internet if you have your own wireless computer. That is not the case in most of the hotels in the area. The hotel is also right across from the Promenade on the beach. The breakfast is good and the staff is very nice and caring and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Probably a good hotel - Maxim

Stayed there for 3 nights in Feb. 2008. I book a single and was given a true single room with a very small bed (was enough though), european style.
The hotel staff was nice and helpful and they provided me with free map of TA Yafo. The premises are clean and well maintained.
Internet station is available but is charged 15 NIS for 24 H. It seems that wireless is free !
I paid 60 USD the first 2 nights and then 65 USD for the third. In fact, the third night was from 1st to 2nd of March and with March start the peak season and therefore an increase in price.
Breakfast was included and was decent but not fancy. Rollmops lover with be happy !!!
Basic free tea time is served (self service) everyday from 5 to 6 pm.

Unique Quality: Location is fine, opposit the US embassy.

Where Israelis stay for best value

I was grateful to find this little boutiques style hotel. It is right across from the beach and near everything. The place is quaint, family run, with breakfast served in the lobby--excellent and included in the cheap price of $60 a night! It is almost acrossed the street from the US Embassy, and 3 blocks or so from the truly fabulous Carmel shuk--the best shuk in Israel. The beach promenade leads you to every major place you would want to go in TA, and also down the way to Jaffa and it's shops and fleamarkets. After a long flight fro NY, it was a relief to sleep and catch up before exploring Israel. The restraunt across the street overlooking the beach is open 24 hours and is extraordinary.

Unique Quality: Small boutique place many repeat visitors from Israel and Europe use. A little gem.

Reaonably priced accomodations

Both times I visited Tel-Aviv (2003, 2005), I stayed at this small, clean and comfortable hotel. It is not a Hilton but offers a great location, decent price and good value. For around USD100 (in 2005) I got a comfortable double room, delicious Israeli buffet breakfast and good service. The facility is located across from the beach and is within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and shopping. It has recently been refurbished quite nicely, too.

Unique Quality: Some rooms offer a sea view; great location.

More about The Maxim Hotel

A good place for a good price

by channah_123 about Maxim Hotel Tel Aviv

Maxim can be pretty much considered a budget hotel. However I was very pleased with it on my stay there. The room was large enough, as was the washroom. TV and phone included. Not to mention the breakfast and the 5 o'clock tea ... very good for socializing!
The staff is friendly - a little bit different from the North American kind of courteousness true – but none the less customer service oriented.
It’s a good place to stay at for sure! Very good location.
