We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend and a travel agent. Maybe they stayed a few years ago, because the state of the place now was not great. The service was fantastic, very helpful and accomodating, we got an upgraded room for no extra charge. Also, the front desk told us the hours of the pool. After we got the kids dressed and ready for the pool, and went downstairs to the pool, there we discovered the pool was under renovation. How disappointing. As we looked out the view from our window, we saw a huge construction pit. This noise started at 7 am, and was not easy to ignore. Also, there was loud music coming from the restaurant/bar/lounge until 3 am. So that left us about 4 hours of sleep. The restaurant served buffet dinner and breakfast, included, and I and my husband were ill for a week after eating there. NOT RECOMMENDED.
