Moevenpick Swimmingpool by nepalgoods For one night we stayed at the Moevenpick Hotel, which is directly located at the Dead Sea. The Hotel offers all amenities, you expect from a luxury hotel.
Its speciality is a big Spa, where you can bath in the healthy water of the Dead Sea and more. Many skin deseases can be cured by the salty water full of minerals.

Ain Musa Hotel And Restaurant by kado Ain Musa is the name of this town. It translates to "Moses Spring". It is about a 15 minutes drive from Petra. People choose to stay here as there's more budget hotels. This one costed around 9 JD (around US$ 12.5) per person with a basic breakfast (fried eggs, cheese, arabic bread, jam, tea.... etc). Quality is average, it is also safe and clean, but furniture and building a bit old. Some of the rooms had a bathroom and shower inside, and some more basic.
This a basic accomodation - not the place to relax or have a swim around the pool etc. Just have breakfast, and dash-out to do the sites around Petra, and then use the bed... To get spoilt, we (me and my friends) would have a meal at the Movenpick, just as we finish from Petra, it's just by the gate. by TheWanderingCamel There's no hotel at all in Jerash, but check out the Olive Branch Hotel - probably the best hotel in north Jordan. It's 5 kms from Jerash and less than that from Ajloun. It's a 3 star hotel with swimming pool etc on a hill with a great view and with hiking trails around it.
Very popular with Jordanians for short breaks and also with groups. Book ahead. You need a car or a taxi to get here.
