This is the worst place we have ever stayed. It is a four star Hotel but I do not know how. The Hotel and swimming pool are still under construction the rooms are small and hot the breakfast awful . There was no internet access in our room the door to the terrace did not lock the bathroom smelt no tea or coffee making facilities our room door was left wide open by staff one day the TV had only 4 channels I could go on and on but suffice to say dont stay here ever it is not worth one cent.

The hotel is situated in the city centre of Aqaba, surrounded by the best restaurants and Diving-centres in town within 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. The hotel has got nice and clean rooms with air conditioning and TV. The food in the restaurant is not so good!!! If you can go in one of the many restaurant that you find near the hotel.

A Bedouin tent in the lobby is the first thing you see as you enter the Golden Tulip hotel. The parrot (an African Grey) lives in the bar. The rooms all open onto a vine-hung atrium and are fine, as long as you don't get the cubbyhole that is obviously meant for children accompanying their parents in the adjoining room. The beds even had plastic mattress covers -not the most comfortable way to spend the night! Just check - the other rooms were all perfectly OK.
Unique Quality: The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from restaurants, shops and the beach. And the tut (mulberry) juice we were given on our arrival was delicious.
