Amazing Beirut

Bayview Hotel is a boutique hotel ideally situated in the heart of Beirut seaside promenade giving you an unforgettable view. It is just three minutes from the main commercial and banking area and seven minutes from the airport.

Unique Quality: Two panoramic restaurants on the roof providing continental menu inside and oriental on the terrace with two bars and live music for evening entertainment. An additional bar is located in the lobby.

the bar on the rooftop with seaview is very busy on most of the days, great atmosphere, preferable to make a reservation.....

Unforgettable View

The Bayview hotel is a boutique hotel, located right in the heart of the seaside promenade -the Corniche (the North side) , and is in an excellent location to see all that Beirut has to offer. The mediterranean views from the rooms are amazing. I was pleasantly upgraded to a junior suite that included an in room bar, sitting area with couch and desk, as well as a walk in closet. The room and hotel is clean and well appointed. The service was impeccable and spoke english - from check-in, room service, valet, house keeping, breakfast staff, concierge - they were all phenomenal. All the rooms have safes, hairdryers, mini-bars, balconies, breakfast and the amazing view. As a woman traveling alone I felt very confortable and safe at this hotel. I highly recommend it!

Unique Quality: roof top pool and double pain windows (so if you want, you can block out the early morning call to prayer)

Beirut's Room With a View

Luxurious boutique hotel with amazing position and an amazing view. Set pretty much on the corniche, next to the hard rock cafe it's an ideal position for those that want a more relaxed stay than in the heart of Beirut. It's a very classy hotel and with the exception of one of the managers who was very rude, the rest of the staff and the most pleasant helpful people you could meet.

The rooms are very nice and the views are exceptional as ever room has a sea view, although some are better than others, luckily i had a great view. The bathrooms are grand and modern and TV in the room is a great size not that you'll be watching it too much as there's so much to see in lebanon.

At night the bar upstairs on the 6th floor opens and they play loud acid/latin jazz mixed with arabic music and a few other forms of music... the drinks are expensive for lebanon but coming from england they were quite reasonable for a cocktail... with them being around $10 each. The barman up there is very friendly and makes really good cocktails.

The only problem with the bar is that if you're on the 5th floor you will get the noise (mainly music) booming through the ceiling til about 2am, but friends of mine stayed on the 4th floor and they couldn't hear it... it didn't bother me to be honest because i had to join in.

Breakfast is in the style of a continental buffet and this can be included in the rate depending on where you book the hotel.

The only problem i had with the hotel, is that when the bar was open upstairs, getting an elevator (lift) from my room to the ground floor seemed like a long wait... The internet connection in the hotel is slow and and the computers are so old it took almost 10 minutes just to get to the stage where i could try connecting.

but these are small niggles and when you look at everything else the hotel has to offer are not even really noticed. The Sun sets right in front of the hotel so you get a great view from the lobby around 6pm

Unique Quality: SHOWER!! (Douche) many hotels in lebanon only come with a Bath (Banio) so if a shower is a must for you then this is place to be, it's instantly hot water and clean as well as powerful.

POSITIONING!! the hotel is pretty much set on the corniche, so it's good if you want to walk or jog. As i mentioned before the sun sets right in front of the hotel in summer months so you'll never have to miss it. You can easily walk to Hamra from there, and if you're feeling a bit more adventurous then you can walk to downtown from there also, although that's around a 20 minute walk. it's about 10 minutes drive from the airport so it's easy to get to.

Each of the rooms are airconditioned with their own controls so no problem there

restaurants on the roof as well as a bar later in the night... definately visit it on the weekend.

Beach access to the St. Georges Yachting Club, or "La Plage" ("the beach") but i didn't find this out until after i left so please check.
