Middle Range Hotel in the best location
Ramada Hotel is located in Sarooj Street / Shatti Al Qurum, Qurm. The hotel located is only five minute from the beach and its close by to the shopping area. The price starts from 40 OMR (need to recheck for update)

Qurum Beach House Hotel
this hotel is in Shatti Al Qurum, right next to all the other fancy ones like Hyatt and just accross the street from the Intercon.
I haven't personally been in it, but was told that their published rates can be bargained down - someone (check this website http://www.nature-photography.co.uk/The%20Oman.htm) got it for RO 7 (US$18) per nite.
