Rent for single bedroom house per month in Ruwi, Oman
Hi everybody,
I have been offered a job in Ruwi, Oman for a Basic salary of 435 RO + 125 RO accomodation + 25 RO Local Transport (all per month). I have to bear the food costs. I will be staying as a bachelor.Can anybody kindly tell me what will be the cost of a single bedroom fully furnished house per month in Ruwi,Oman. What will be the cost of Local transport and cost of average food per day (because I can't cook food).
Also please be kind enough to tell how much I can save per month considering a small bit of luxury in living.

A single bedroom flat in Ruwi would cost anywhere from RO 100-120. Most of the apartments are unfurnished. YOu can consider staying as a paying guest and a good one cost around RO 60-65 and would be furnished.
Food expenses depends on what food you eat, a veg meal in Saravana in Ruwi would cost you around RO 2-3/day. you need to take a place close to your work so taht you can walk. if not it may cost you around RO 30-40 for transportation.
The package is decent one for a bachelor and after non-discretionary spending you can have RO 300-350 for splurging or saving.
