Star Mountain: Ramallahs best pension

I stayed at Star Mountain in Ramallah and it was a great alternative to a hostel. The place is uniqe and like no other place I have stayed in the west bank. It is a rehabilitaion center for disabled children 4 days a week, but has very nice accomodation too. They offer rooms, apartments and cottages including breakfast for very reasonable prices. The place is surrounded by trees and the area is very big, so you can actually take a walk around the place. There is a 24 hour guard which makes you feel very safe, especially when you are traveling alone as a girl. The staff is super friendly and they do everything to make your stay pleasent. there is acess to free wireless during daytime and there is hot water. And the income they get goes directly to fund the school and kindergarden for disabled children. This place is really one of a kind, and I highly recommend it.

Unique Quality: The area is really splendid, because you have acess to your own litte forrest and the view of the mountains is spectacular. You can have your own little cottage where you can cook for yourself.
