While the hotel was fine, I was charged for every minute I plugged in my computer even though the internet did not work. Be careful, $3/min can be very expensive for a non-functional service. They were not even willing to understand the situation.

I only stayed at Merweb for one night, but it was a pleasent stay. Not much to complain about. I had a view over a part of the city, and it was ok :)
I didnt have to pay for the stay myself so I actually dont know the price for staying at the hotel... The resturant is great!

SMALL BUT WARM PLACE Strict dress code the one and only obligation: NO sportshoes ware allowed:
Jeans and T-shirts are all welcome.

Located in the Al Sadd Merweb Hotel. The entrance policies here are very strange. If you are a woman, or with a woman, you will probably get in for free. However, if you are a single man, you may have to pay an entrance, or you may be told that it is a member’s own club and denied entrance altogether. Inside the club is small, although the mirror at the back gives the impression that it is larger than it really is, and dark - although the waiters’ trays helpfully light up when they serve you. A welcome change in Doha. No sneakers/tennis shoes or sandels
