 | Qatar Reviews | Tips 1 - 10 of 44 | | The hotel is very luxurios, and it's not a cheap hotel, but the service is great!! The resturants on the hotel is very expensive and it's recommendable to eat on one of the other good and cheaper resturants in Doha. The hotel is situated on its own island resort, just outside the city, overlooking the crystal blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. It's hard to get to the city if you dont have a car or wont to take one of the limousine cars, as there is no normal taxis at the hotel.
All rooms have sea or golf course view. A selection of nine restaurants and bars offering fine local and international cuisine. A world-class Spa and modern fitness center. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Two ballrooms, six meeting rooms, a videoconferencing room and a fully equipped business center. 235 slip marina with club house. Leave a Comment

When I have been staying at the Ritz Carlton, then Mövenpick is a little disappoiting hehe It is a good hotel, but not one of the best... The service was terrible, I had to wait 30 min to get my luggage when I came to pick it up later on the check-out day.
Lovely view over the corniche, and the sea, from some of the rooms. It has a good location, very close to the corniche, Doha National Museum, and also not very far from the airport. Leave a Comment

My cousin took me there to show Sheraton hotel. It was indeed worth a visit ! Even if you do not stay here, you should definitely come here to enjoy its structure and design. We stayed in the hotel for a little while, had some drinks and thats it !
It's Triangular Design is something unique and artistic ! I only stayed at Merweb for one night, but it was a pleasent stay. Not much to complain about. I had a view over a part of the city, and it was ok :) I didnt have to pay for the stay myself so I actually dont know the price for staying at the hotel...
The resturant is great! Leave a Comment

It's a very simple hotel, you got the necessary things in the rooms and nothing more... but then again the prices are not that high, so I dont think you can expect much more. The rooms were clean, and the hotel located in the center of Doha. I only stayed there for two nights, and I did not see anything else of the hotel than my room and the lobby. This is a typical upscale Expatriate compound in Doha. Such compounds are walled, and consist of 3-4 bedroom townhouses surrounding a small pool. Building quality is usually high, though it will change from compound to compound. These are not for short term rent. Companies will lease part or all of a given compolund for employees. This is an expensive, 5-star hotel. But it is unlike any other Sheraton outside of Las Vegas. A shining example of the vulgarity that oil profits can buy. If you've any imagination you'll think you were in a baroque whorehouse. Amazing amounts of crystal, gold and silk. The servility of the employees is also uniquely Persian Gulf-style. No haughty desk clerks! Leave a Comment Theme: HotelComparison: most expensiveAddress: On the Corniche, the coastal 'boardwalk'Other Contact: In Qatar, one joins a hotel's he

When i visited Doha, all the American and British and other foreign journalists were staying in this hotel for their coverage about US assault on Iraq. It's indeed Doha's most luxurious hotel, having some excellent restaurants and bars, a lobby lounge that serves a high tea to die for ! Overall It is a perfect choice if you want to stay somewhere 'special'.
The administration has left no stone unturned to make this hotel the most remarkable and unique in Doha. The facilities being provided here are outstanding. It has got its own private beach and marina and luxuriously appointed rooms. Don't tell me that you do not like such comfortable sofas. I love the colour combinations of Marriot Hotel more than the Sheraton that's why after so many pictures and tip of Sheration i have added this last picture from Marriot Hotel. Tell me which one u like the most out of these two :-) ? Leave a Comment
