sofitel hotel makkah: worst 5 star in makkah

A hotel near marwa.many rooms with no views at all.poor state of repairs.in our room the door handle came off the front door as we were entering.the toilet flush did not work.we were there for 3 days and no one came in to clean the room.we had to ask for new towels. We ate in rtheir Nadwa resturant. It was dirty food was of a poor quality.
Would urge every one to find some where else.

Al Sultan Palace hotel Jedda: a palace without the service

We stayed in thhe Al Sultan Palace hotel in Amir Sultan hotel opposit city plaza after our hajj.Beautifull building but service was very poor.the hotel staff were unhelpfull. one guest walked in with a bag of rubbish and asked the hotel staff where the bin was.He was told to go out of the hotel and round the back to dispose of their rubbish.instead of the offer to dispose of it .The Arabs were treated differently then non arabs.non arabs were basiclly ignored by the staff.Rooms were not cleaned.Big wheele bins were left outside the rooms.Breakfast was included in the package but there was not enough room to serve breakfast.one morning we had to eat in the corridore.Nice building very poor service.

Royal Dar ul Emaan.: A luxurious hotel near Kaaba.

The best thing is the location as it is situated at the door step of the Holy Kaaba. The most important thing is that the nearer you are from the Kaaba it is convenient for you to perform the religious deeds such as Namaz (Salat) and Umrah. Royal Dar ul Emaan is a five star hotel with a very fine buffet breakfast, shopping center and a bunch of fine restaurants.

Of course the unique thing is the location of this hotel as it is situated on the gate Abdul Aziz of the Holy Kaaba.

Hotel Lulu.: Once a Hotel "Lulu ".

When I was writing this tip I think they have demolished this hotel as it was in the area in which five hundred hotels where suppose to be demolished as new one will take their place. Lulu was a small hotel but it was neat and clean and the staff was very friendly.

It was in the commercial area with almost all types of shops near it and mainly near the Holy Kaaba.
