Travel from Jiddah to Egypt
What is the cheapest transporation from Jiddah to Egypt? Have checked NasAir and the cheapest Jiddah to Alexandria is around SAR400. Is there any ferries crossing the Red Sea between these two countries?

There is a ferry service from Jeddah to Suez but the price is nearly same as you mentioned SAR400 by air. 1st/2nd/3rd class SR845/695/395

thanks for the info. wow, that was expensive for a bus ride. even the flight is on the expensive side for me, not really on low cost airline scale as I'm usually used to. But the ferries you mentioned is to suez right? but I saw something about ferries from Duba in Saudi to Hurghada in Egypt in some other forums. But no website of the ferries operator.

How you will go to Duba from Jeddah? there is no public transportation available, and you will have to rent a vehicle.

My sister currently working in jeddah. She usually have some Yemeni guy to drive her whenever she goes to Mecca. I believe we can ask the guy to sent us to Duba.

And yet, everywhere in the compound are signs instructing that no photographs are to be taken. Certainly no photos of attractive nakedness on the beach. But who could resist sunset over the Red Sea? Certainly I couldn’t!

Our university is seperated(males from females).When there is a subject that had only males proffesors to teach,then it`s viewd to the females through a TV screen and there were telephones to comunicate with the students.
