i have a long history and ties with Hilton Jeddah; have been to many conferences, bazaars, exhibitions and wedding parties in this gorgeous place. i haven't stayed here obviously as i already live in jeddah but have visited friends and colleagues during their stay.
Hilton Jeddah has a very good public reputation, most of jeddah private and governmental events are held here. that's why the security is very tight around this place, which can be a bit annoying!
this hotel consists of two hotels actual; the Hilton Jeddah, and Qasr al Sharq Hilton (Oriental Palace).
the first is more affordable and open for events. the location is superb, right at the corniche, and just 15-min away from central jeddah and Tahlia street or Hera street if you fancy shopping. it's also around 30-min away from al Balad - the old part or historical jeddah.
the lobby is very big, featuring a bridge connecting the two sides of the hotel inside, a beautiful man-made stream, and a lower lobby for exhibits
standard room rate starts at SR700 inclusive of breakfast and go up to SR3000. the staff are friendly and helpful and they treat you like a celebrity
the latter hotel is far more luxurious and may cater for very very VIPs - one night rate starts at SR35,000 up to SR70,000. it includes a luxurious spa and gym, full of beautiful paintings and extravagant decoration. and it's worth having a tea or brunch once in a while if you want to treat yourself.
you still can go to the top floor at the first hilton for dinner and an amazing view of the seashore and jeddah.
you cannot find such a standard affordable rate anywhere else in the world, if you wish to stay in the Hilton.
Unique Quality: - swimming pool for men, and a separate one for women
- 3 ball rooms for weddings and conferences and exhibitions
- 2 restaurants; one at the top floor for a spectacular view; and another one in the lower lobby for seafood and ecclectic cuisine depending on the season
- gym and spa
- business centre
Directions: from Malik Road, go to Corniche street. you will find the huge building of the Hilton. you canNOT miss it

The Jeddah Hilton is located on the fashionable North Corniche, and therefore has some amazing views of the city and the Red Sea.
When entering the 414-bedroom hotel you look up and see the roof about 20 storeys above you, there are palms, fountains, waterfalls and scenery lighting all located inside downstairs.
All the rooms have bright tasteful color schemes, with one glass front and a private balcony.
There is an Executive floor lounge, three Royal suites, 29 luxurious suites, four restaurants (Persian, American Diner, Roof-Top, Coffee Shop), a Vienna Café and 24 hours room service.
The usual facilites: business center, shopping arcade, mosque, covered car park for 500 cars, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, gymnasium, sauna, tennis/squash courts, bowling club, private beach club access and a Red Sea diving center.
Unique Quality: The Vienna Cafe has the biggest ice cream sundaes I've seen in Saudi! And some really yummy cakes.
We sometimes go there for afternoon tea during the week, and wander down the corniche afterwards.

Kindly give the names of the nearest two or three hotels (no less than 4 stars)to Jeddah international Airport, together with their web sites and reservation information. Thank you.
There are no airport hotels per se in Jeddah. Also, Jeddah airport has two terminals: One for Saudi Airlines, and the other one is for all other airlines. The distance between the two terminals is 15 - 20 minutes.
In regards to 4 star and higher hotels, they are two main locations: the corniche, and downtown. Downtown is about 40 mins away, and Corniche is about 15 mins from the Saudi Terminal.
Hotels on the Corniche, which meet your criteria would be:
Hilton Jeddah - 5*
Westin Jeddah- 5*
Sheraton Jeddah - 5*
Al-Bilad - 3/4 *
All of the hotels can arrange to pick you up from the hotel, and in some cases they will do it for free.
