Quality 4-Star Hotel

Stayed in the KAKI hotel yesterday for a night. It is classed as a 4-star hotel and I would agree. A triple room cost 260 SAR. It is located on the fringe of the city, off King Fahd Road. It's a 10-15min drive to the shopping malls. It wasn't easy actually finding the hotel and we only managed to find it by chance. The hotel is excellent and I would definitely stay there again. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and the staff are very helpful.

The food we ordered was excellent. Club sandwich (plus fries, bread) cost 20 SAR and a fillet steak (plus fries, vegetables) which was very tasty cost 36 SAR. There is the usual 15% service charge! You are not allowed to bring any food or drink from outside into the hotel. However, when they are charging 4 SAR for a soft drink (1 SAR from outside) and 6 SAR for tea/coffee (2 SAR from outside), it may not be a bad idea to try to sneak in some drinks!
