Playing in the streets of the Downtown

The Old part of the city,here is a picture of the cemetary called Omanna Hawwa,,or in other word"our mother Eve" where it`s believed that the name Jiddah(which means grandmother)was granted to this city because Eve was burried here. My fondest memory of Jeddah is playing at the old city`s streets at the down town where I used to live,it had small street where no cars could pass by so it is very safe to play there with my bicycle.I also was the only one in My neighourhood who had roller skates ;-)

This picture was taken from my friend`s apartment on the 12th floor.
The weather was hot and humid,,this is the typical weather we have in Jiddah.That`s why you`ll see the picture is kinda blurry.The huge building in the center is the Westin Hotel. This day I swam with my friends at our mutual friend`s apartment,,it has a swimming pool on the 12th floor.all I remember is that we laughed (til we had cheek ache)at an old video of the same friend group.filmed back in 1998.This day will not be forgotten.
