by anees Holiday Inn Olaya is the second Holiday Inn in twon after the old nice Al Manhal HOliday Inn. The new one, as the first, is conveniently located in the commercial ceter of Riyadh and the new modern shopping area Its close to ministries, hospitals, exhibition center, With 177 guest rooms. The hotel so close to the Computers and IT market in Olaya, Its kind causing problems to find Park for your car, but I think it adds some liveliness to the location. I would say the hotel has a bit extra noise as its overlooking at Cairo Square, where the two largest roads crossing, King Fahad and Khorais. They offer daily dinner by the swimming poll, which is nice to see
Central Location, Nice breakfast area.

Excellent, clean, modern hotel in downtown Riyadh (Faisaliyya district) with exceptional service. It was my first stay in Riyadh, which with I was quite impressed, generally. The room was immaculate and very comfortable - many amenities and responsive front desk. The internet service was not included ($10/day), thought the overall price was reasonable given the location. The hotel is situated in a hi-tech shopping district (hardware/software)... it seems the city shops are organized by genre. Definitely requires a car to shop/get around. Access to the pool for men was until 4PM, due to Islamic cultural standards with regard to visual privacy. I had meetings every day, so relief in the pool was before heading out - I would have preferred evenings! The neighborhood was a bit noisy with traffic, taxis, and computer market, but I didn't mind it so much since I didn't have to drive. Taxis are plentiful and cheap...
The poolside "mist-garden" restaurant had a very tasty selection of good food with on-order grill and prompt service. Actually, food in Riyadh generally was really very good and inexpensive. I can't compare to other hotels (just yet), but would definitely stay here again. Theme: HotelPrice: US$80-120 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: computer district
