    • THE INTERCONTINENTAL OR MARRIOTT HOTELS. MOST WESTERNERS WHO WORK AND LIVE IN RIYADH LIVE IN WESTERN STYLE COMPOUNDS WHICH MEANS THAT THEY ARE SEGRAGATED FROM THE GENERAL POPULATION
    PRICES ARE MATCHED TO WORLD STANDARD PRICES FOR ROOMS AND RELATED TO THE STAR RATING

    THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THESE HOTELS IS THAT THEY CANNOT SERVE ALCOHOL AS IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE KINGDOM. HOWEVER THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF EXCELLENT RESTAURANTS WITHIN THE HOTEL COMPLEX WITH THE CHOICE OF WESTERN OR ARABIC QUISINE

    • Service and the facilities are very nice, and its almost in the city center .... and I think the area covered by the hotel is also quite huge, as they have 9 holes golf course inside the hotel compound, except for other sports facilities which are also very nice.

    Nice Pool, 3 tennis and squash courts each a nice gym also .... as I mentioned above a very nice green 9 holes golf course.

    Great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are all kinds of great shops on the ground floor along with some fantastic restuarants. They even have a 18 hole golf club out in the back.

    The Intercon had a great outdoor pool area but with keeping with arab tradition, no women were allowed. Their pool was indoors in a seperate building.

    Its the largest hotel in town. The building located in very central area in older town.
    The building sytle back to 70's era where concrete was the clearly use in the design.
    The hotel famous of being attached to the oldest function hall in town, King Faisal Hall where lot of official conferences held in past three decades.
    The hotel has gold course, big car parketings, and big lobby.

    Centrally located but its far from shopping and restaurant area. The building is old compared to the newly built hotels
