I enjoyed my stay in Syria except ...

It is true that I travelled with a bad travel agency, which placed three women (not knowing each other) in a room.
The room was small (the fattest tourist had no choice of bed, she could get to one only), cold (it was in January 2009) with a terrible draught from a covered window. The heating was adjusted only after I had complained twice at the reception. No carpet, no night lamp, missing wall of the shower, only two towels, I had to ask for toilet paper.
As the Fardoss has officially 4 stars, I asked the receptionist to go with me to see the room and say if it is suitable for 3 women who are not family members. He refused saying that it is possible that the hotel does not correspond to European 4 or 3 stars, however,he said it was the only room we could get.
TERRIBLE!
