A good place to stay

This hotel is in an excellent location: just a straight street to Al-Hamidiyya. Although not all of the rooms are nice, this is a good place to stay because of the extremely helpful staff, who will provide you with any kind of information, book you day trips to Bosra, Sednayyia etc., or help you find a local tour guide.

a perfectly located cheap hotel

Really nice and friendly hotel! Rooms are simple - with private bathroom - and spotless clean, and the staff at reception very helpful. Immodest, too: they keep saying that nothing is impossible at the Sultan. No TV in the room, but there's a delightful TV-room with plenty of soft sofas. What else? There's also a bookshelf to borrow and/or exhange books during your stay.

Unique Quality: It's in the perfect idiot-proof location for those who keep getting lsot like me. You leave the hotel and turn left, walk about 10 minutes, and arrive at the main souq and omayyad mosque. You leave the hotel and turn right, walk about 5 minutes, and arrive right in frotn of the National Museum, you go straight and get to one of the bus stations, the baramke garage. As I said: perfect! And for 21 dollars a night!

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
