The royal suites is a really nice hotel that is only a stonethrow from the old part of town and eight next to the souk.
On top of that it´s a very comfortable hotel with excellent rooms and very good service.
The hotel also has a gym if you feel like getting fit while in Damascus.

Families might want to know that the hotel also has some suites where you have two bedrooms and a nice common area with kitchen connecting it.

Unique Quality: the place has a fantastic location and is very well run.

Directions: right by the citadel.

Royal Suites-Apartments Hotel is located at the center of old Damascus. Overlooking the Omayad Mosque, ancient Damascus castle and Hamidieh Souk, this spectacular hotel project has been emerged with both modernism of construction and originality of the most ancient inhabited city in history.

Unique Quality: I realy like this hotel also they rent a lap top computer in room with internet for 10$ by day ...

Directions: Souk Al-Hamidieh - 300 Meters
Omayad Mosque - 1 Kilometer
The Citadel of Damascus - 150 Meters
Al-Azem Palace - 1 Kilometer
National Museum of Damascus - 3 Kilometers
Al-Hejaz Station - 500 meters
