Excellent hotel after renovulation - Feb. 2008
I heared that it was not good. but my last stay was there in Feb 2008, they were about finalizing the hotel & all rooms....
New rooms were very great, clean, new furnitures, VERY EXCELLENT ROOM SERVICE & 24hrs..
Very good management...
I stayed there 4 nights, i booked one night to try it, but really i extended for 4 nights. it was very amazing .... but One point that There is no facilities in this hotel...
I will stay at this hotel everytime i travel there.

avoid Venezia Damascus
if your tour company takes you to this hotel, refuse to get off the coach. It is dirty and not maintained. The rooms are smelly and dusty. The furniture is old and the furnishings need washing. There are no facilities worth speaking of. I changed rooms three times and in the end refused to sleep there and transferred late at night to the International Hotel across the road, owned by the same people. It's not that much better in terms of service but is a bit cleaner and less decrepid.
