Canaan Family Tzimmer - 2: Enjoy an Israeli Breakfast
Typical of most tzimmers situated in local moshavs (these are like upper-scale co-ops), is the delicious and plentiful Israeli breakfast. Said breakfast is offered to tzimmer guests (for a small additional fee). The breakfast is convenient because it is delivered to your door by one of the moshav residents (who presumably prepared it) and there aren't really any restaurants in the area.
In our case, the tzimmer where we stayed had an excellent view of the Sea of Galilee, and it was wonderful to wake up in the morning, walk outside our bungalow and pick fresh citrus right off the trees, then wait to be served a huge Israeli breakfast - complete with fresh omelette and feta cheese, breads, salads, honey, tahini, jams, avocado, olives, and delicious coffee.

Canaan Family Tzimmer: Israel's Alternative to Hotels
Thanks to VTer Sharon, we ended up staying at a "tzimmer" while we were in the Galilee/Golan area. A "tzimmer" is basically an Israeli version of a "bed & breakfast" and is a popular lodging alternative among some Israelis.
The Canaan Family couldn't have been nicer and the bungalow where we stayed was cozy and fresh.
Note: We stayed here in the "low season" so the cost averaged around $70 a night, plus an additional $10 for breakfast. I've since heard that they are charging around $150 a night (high season prices maybe?!) which in my opinion is outrageously expensive for the value.

Had Ness B & B: Relaxing and peaceful
We were staying in Moshav Had Ness which is only 3 min' drive from the Yehudiya preserve.
Fantastic Small houses, amazing view of Lake Kinnereth (Sea of Galile) and the golan mountains, Lots of quiet and nature around.
I really couldn't ask for more.
The houses includes a bedroom and a living room which has sofas that can be used as beds. Also a nice shower with a Jacuzzy and a lovely equipped kitchen.
When you open the door of the living room you have a wonderful garden and as i mentioned all the view... as well as a BBQ to use if you like and a hammock.
What else can one want ? i had a great time staying in this Tzimmers and i'll be back there for sure.
