The rooms are nice, large, and thoroughly modern, with enclosed jacuzzi bathtub/shower. It's also in a great location, in Kizilay, the modern heart of Ankara, away from, but close to, what touristy areas Ankara does have (which are the Ulus and Hisar/Citadel areas). The neighbourhood is nice and full of restaurants and shops, both upscale and inexpensive, mostly catering to locals and visiting Turks. Just to the north, across Ziya Gokalp Caddesi, is a wonderful area of pedestrianised streets with an open-air market and countless shops, restaurants, dessert places, bars, night clubs, and the like. Smaller similar areas are all around and a small shopping centre is also nearby. It also includes a swimming pool, which can be quite a plus, and free parking.
It's more expensive than other places in the city (I marked below that it is in the $40-80/person price range, but it is a little near the higher end), but you can easily get a heavily reduced rate if you book in advance and the quality you get is worth it if you can swing it. Coming from California, for me this rate is a steal because even cheap, basic, but decent motels where I live are not much less and they don't include breakfast (aside from doughnuts and cold cereal). The same facilities here would cost much more.
