Sign in with Facebook I was in Akropol Hotel in Alanya. Very nice hotel and very mood athmospher. There is pool, restaurant,bar,shop and very tasty food. There are 3 meals every day.

In this hotel are very gut drink but not very chip. My alcohol drink cost was 22 DEM but was tasty and worth this many.
One problem - must buy drink to meals because price not includ drink to dinner.

We have just bought a villa here and would like to know what the area is like. Is it busy, loud, hectic,peaceful?
Is there much nightlife?
Any diving in this area?

first i must say sorry to be late answering..ive been having problems with my pc...so now im trying to catch up with mail and messages.
i live just down the road from avsallar..in konakli...my partner works in Avsallar and we have friends that live in the centre.(turkish)
the area is very quiet in the winter..not much happening at all. you dont seem to know much about the area so i take it you are not living here permanently.
there is nightlife in the season but now nothing doing ..and of course it Ramazan.after Ramazan the main focus for nightlife is in Alanya...in the Turkish nightclubs...its really nice.
There are diving schools in Alanya and diving centres..but i dont really know much about that..except that they do dives around the promontary in Alanya and i think up near Belek...let me know if you need more info...and also maybe you need to look at some of the forums where people have made the move to this area.

On August 11st 2009 we drive along the River Dim to the Toros Mountains where urkish government build a water dam. We drived witin very beautiful pine, oak forests. If someone ask the way to paradise you can surely say Dim Cay. There are 2 main roads along the river we drive through the east side of the river. There are many restaurants arond the river. We stayed at Beyaz Saray Picnic & Restaurant. The restaurant had aquapark also. We ate 4 portion riverfish, coban salatasi the herdman's salat with special turkish bread, 4tees, 2 turkish coffee for 82 TL. We stayed there 5 hours on the same table. The waiters were wery friendly.
You can sit, eat or sleep on the cool comportable rafts on the river. Or you can sit, eat or sleep on the tree-cabinets. You can sit around the table which are placed in the river. You can swimm in the cool river.
