I am going to alanya the 8. april so i want to now if anyone know how the weather is in alanya ???
Hi,
Just returned from Lara which is not too far from Antalya. Highest temperature was 20°C last week. But: in the mornings there is often rain or it is cloudy. Then it's quite nice from 11 a.m. up to 3 p.m or 4 p.m if you're lucky. After that it is too cold to sunbath. In the evenings it is quite fresh, long trouseres and a pullover is needed. Hope this helped.
Best time for Alanya.
We had just got off the Dolmus and were looking for a place to stop and have a drink, when we came across this old chap selling a wonderful blend of orange and pomegranite juice. He even gave me a smoke and a chair to sit on whilst I had my drink. And of course a photo with opportunity with my girlfriend! Real tasty fruit drink!
This cave lies in the Dim valley, not so far from Alanya. It's a really beautiful cave, with some amazing stalagmites and stalactites. Inside they have build footbridges to walk on, to prevent the site from being destroyed.
The cave stretches out almost 400 meters inside the mountain, and is at about 230 meters above the sea. At the end of the path is a lovely lake.
Lighting has been added inside, and it makes these mysterious 'stonesculptures' even more beautiful. It's very humid and a bit chilly inside the cave, especially when it's more than 30 degrees outside.
A tour to the Dim cave is great to do in combination with a trip to the river Dim Çay.
